Summary of The Day the Earth Stood Still
Een vertegenwoordiger van een buitenaards ras dat een drastische evolutie heeft doorgemaakt om haar eigen klimaatveranderingen te overleven, Klaatu (Keanu Reeves) komt naar de aarde om de mensen in te lichten, hoe slecht hun planeet er aan toe is. Klaatu, die reeds een negatieve indruk van het menselijk ras heeft, wordt opgesloten door de Verenigde Naties. Daarop besluit hij dat de mensheid moet worden uitgeroeid om de aarde te redden.
